Landlords Checklist…
There are a number of responsibilities that a Landlord should be aware of prior to letting their properties. We have compiled a Landlords Checklist to assist you and note that all the necessary arrangements have been completed.

• Have you provide us with identification?
• Is the property subject to a mortgage?
• Have you obtained the mortgage company consent?
• Have you arranged appropriate insurance?
• Have you provided us with all the relevant utility
• Companies and contact numbers?
• Have you obtained meter readings?
• If you are overseas have you contracted the Inland Revenue for FICO number?
• Gas/Elec Landlords certificate been issued? (This is mandatory annual requirement)
• Does your furniture comply with the required 1993 regulations?
• Have you provided us with 3 sets of keys?
• Have instructions been left to operate the remaining white goods?
• If there is a garden it is recommended that garden equipment should be left?
• Have you arranged for an independent Inventory to be carried out? (Always recommended)
• Are smoke alarms fitted on all floors?
• Is a garage to be included?
• Carpets, curtains, nets and window are to be left clean?
